Alumni

Your story is important -- you can help inspire other students.

It is important for students who are beginning a career path to see that others who were in their position have made successful lives and careers for themselves.  The Foundation regularly honors graduates who have made significant contributions to their professions and communities.

Giving Back

The Great Oaks Foundation helps students overcome the obstacles to graduation, employment and continuing education.

Your involvement—whether sharing your story, mentoring, speaking, attending alumni events, or donating—directly helps current students access opportunities and reach their goals.

James Godfrey

Senior Pre-sales Engineer at croit North American Inc Laurel Oaks - Information Support Services class of 2006 "This is a 2+ year head start into an industry or discipline. Until I started attending Great Oaks I thought I was a kid that hated school, it turns out I love learning, but had no control over what I was learning. By choosing a path that I was interested in it opened the door. I also was fortunate that I knew I wanted to do something with Information Technology and this was a way to fast track that into a well paying career. The skills I built gave me credibility to speak the language which helped with job interviews, and ultimately kickstarting my career."
